WCARS was founded by Prof.Dr.Miklos Vasarhelyi from Rutgers University Business School.

The 61st WCARS is organized by Prof.Dr.Kıymet Tunca Çalıyurt from Trakya University Business Administration Department, a leading organization. International Group on Governance Fraud Ethics and CSR & Herme Academy, located at Trakya University Technopark are other organizers.

This symposium is the leading forum for the discussion of research and practice into the application of technology to auditing and reporting.
